Andrés - Bio and History

Here are some interesting facts about Andrés, and some of his history as he progressed into becoming the excellent composer he is now.

* Andrés was born October 8, 1981 in Tartu, Estonia and is still living there at this time. He started playing piano at age 6, and also began attending music school at that time.

* By age 10 he was already starting to compose his own music. In 1997 at age 16 he began to compose digital "mod" music using the ModPlug Tracker.

* By the time he was 18 (1999) he was already releasing his first tracks to the public such as "Streets Of Bangkok, "Friday Night In Hell" and "Lost In L.A." which were listed at the now departed Trax In Space

* After that he did not compose for a few years until he met Soapgirl. Together they created a small studio and once again Andrés was back in the world of music. With Soapgirl he did some live performances in 2003 and the song "Friends are Back" ( "Sobrad on siin" ) was played at times on Estonina radio stations.

* In Jan 2004, Andrés was offered to reproduce some sound effects, and wrote an original soundtrack for a film made by some film students.

* This summer Andrés will be working on 10 new tracks and plans to join some summer tours in Estonia. Some dancers have been hired for the tour as well, and there is also plans to hire some extra staff for organizing. As for now though, Andrés is working on projects with his friend Tanel Lassik and other singers.

* Andrés says his hero is Sting, but his style is not influenced by Sting. He admires Sting for his lyrics, and as a great live performer. Andrés says his music is influenced by Sopie Ellis Bextor, Benjamin Diamond, Modjo, Baby D, Daft Punk, Earth Wind And Fire, and old good Disco kings.
